Congratulations to Donnie for his latest film, IP MAN,winning the top honors at 28th Hong Kong Film Awards on April 19. In the mean time, IP MAN also won the Best Action Choreography award which action directed by Sammo Hung and Leung Siu-Hung.
Bodyguards and Assassins will start shooting in April
In Bodyguards and Assassins (formerly Dark October), Dr. Sun Yat-Sen heads to Hong Kong to raise funds for revolution activities. Learning of the Manchu government attempt assassination of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the tycoon (Wang Xequi) in Hong Kong who is responsible for receiving, hires a group of elite bodyguards (Donnie Yen et al.) to protect him. They sacrifice their lives to escort him back to Guangzhou safely eventually.
