Donnie delighted the crowd at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong on March 11 as he announced the coming of his wax figure as Master Ip from the movie Ip Man. Donnie’s figure as Master Ip will be unveiled in late April closer to the launch of Ip Man 2.
Ip Man’s director Wilson Yip led the cast including Donnie, Lynn Xiong, producer Raymond Wong, and screen writer Wong Chi Hung attended the film and theme song press conference. The film will release on April 29 in Hong Kong. At the press conference, Cheng Ka Sing performed the theme song while Chiang Doi Yin who plays the "young Bruce Lee" in the film performed kung fu.
