The Coolest Action Actor of 2004
Donnie attended the MTV Style awards China 2004 show with
his wife Cecilia in shanghai, 21st November and received the "Coolest
Action Actor of 2004" award.
The MTV Style Awards China 2004 is jointly held by the world
entertainment giant MTV, China Centeral Television 6 and Shanghai
Media Group. More than 40 stars and singers performed at the
annual galamedias.

Donnie will receive Remy X.O Excellence
Award & Coolest Action Actor of 2004 award
Donnie will attend The Fourth Annual Concert of Excellence
sponsored by Remy Martin X.O and Second Generation, at Lincoln
Center, New York, US on 22nd, November, 2004 .Donnie will receive
the Remy X.O Excellence Award with other 2 Asian artists ,Pat
Morita & Kelly Hu, for their artistic achievements and
career excellence of this year.
 The
day before, Donnie will be in Shanghai for an MTV awards show
on which he will also be honored with the "Coolest Action
Actor of 2004" award from MTV Channel.
Seven Swords is in production.
Tsui Hark's Seven Swords now is in shooting in Xinjiang, mainland
China. Donnie takes the role of Chu zhao Nan, heart and the
eldest of the Seven Swords.The movie is expected to be finished
by the end of November and will be released in summer of 2005.
Sha Po Lang is moving towards post-production.
The shooting of Sha Po Lang is completed.The movie is moving
towards post-production and is expected to be released in the
Spring of 2005. Sammo Hung and Donnie, the 2 martial arts superstars
are expected to present a knockout screen fight in the film.

Po Lang is shooting in HK.
Donnie's upcoming action drama ,Sha Po Lang(working title),
directed by Wilson Yip Wai-shun, cast of Sammo Hung, Simon
Yam and Wu Jing, is currently shooting in Hong Kong. Donnie
is also the action director of this film. The HK$30m (US$3.8m)
film is produced by Carl Chang with backing from Abba Chan'
s Abba Movies. It' s scheduled to wrap in September for a November
release.
HERO soars to late August Record
"Hero," which is presented in Mandarin with English
subtitles in about 2,031 mainstream theaters from 27th August
in North America, earned $18 million in its opening weekend.
The film keeps its No.1 throne of weekend box office in the
week-end of 3rd September with $8.8 million.
Through Monday and Tuesday this week , "Hero" had
a solid showing with roughly $1.8 million and $1.5 million,
respectively, according to tracking service Exhibitor Relations
Co Inc.
Donnie joins 'Seven Swords'
Donnie is set to replace leading man Song Seung-heon in Tsui
Hark's Seven Swords Leave Mt. Heaven after the Korean actor
quit as a result of being tied up with other projects. Donnie,
who is currently in the United States to promote Miramax's
release of Hero, was recently in Hong Kong shooting Sha Po
Lang as action director and leading man with co-stars Simon
Yam, Sammo Hung and Wu Jing.

Donnie attends Twins Effect II primiere
in Beijing.
 The
Twins Effect II: The Huadu Chronicles : Blade Of The Rose has
first premiere of its global promotion in Beijing on 8th, August.
Donnie has attended this premiere and his next stop is Shanghai
on 9th, August then back to Hong Kong. This time Donnie has

Director's cut of Hero is officially released!
The director-cut version of Hero will be released by Guangdong
face audio & video production Co. ltd on 16, July 2004.
There will be 3 packages to be introduced to the public: Diamond
Prestige D9 package of 180 mins, Ordinary D9 package of 150
mins and Ordinary D5 package of 118 mins.

This 40th Golden Horse Award winner continues his success story
by winning the Best Action Choreography award of 23rd Hong
Kong Film Awards in Hong Kong Culture Centre on 4th April 2004,
Hong Kong.
The Twins Effect picks up 7 nominations and walks off with
6 awards. The others include Best Film Editing, Best Art Direction,
Best Costume & Make Up Design, Best Sound Design and Best
Visual Effects.

Fighting with Jackie again!

is now in Canton to shoot the action scenes of "The Twins
Effect2" with Jackie .According to previously disclosed
synopsis, they are supposed to be fighting in a secret weapon
treasure with smoke all around to emphasis a mysterious atmosphere.

is underway in China's Yunnan Province for The Twins Effect
2: The Battle for the Flower Capital, sequel to EMG's 2003
blockbuster vampire actioner The Twins Effect. The supernatural
theme has been sacked following concerns by Beijing and instead,
Twins pop duo Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi return for a
1000-year old historical fantasy.
Donnie will play a general of the ancient time, who protects
the ousted prince Jaycee Chan Cho Ming and helps him reclaim
the throne and defeat the enemy troops.

Premiere--Protege de la Rose Noire
Donnie's "Protege de la Rose Noire" had its Hong
Kong premiere in JP theater,Causeway Bay on Monday night 2
February 2004. Chris Yen, Ekin Cheung, the Twins and Teresa
Mo have participated the premiere. The action/comedy opened
February 3rd in Hong Kong and has shot to number one at the
box office with over HKD $850,000 earned on its first day.
