The Black Rose 1997 (Cameo) Yen briefly appears in this Corey Yuen-Jeff Lau collaboration, a freewheeling riff on the ‘Black Rose’ ‘60s television series. Yen plays the chief of the Tiger International Boxing Association where Nancy Sit shows up complaining she’s being followed. The culprit, Blacky Ko, appears, only to beat the boxers there. Yen materializes and delivers multiple punches to Ko’s face with ease as Ko struggles to tell him how good his (Ko’s) kung fu abilities are. A humorous moment in an over-the-top movie.
