Highlander: Endgame The movie pairs the movie and TV Highlanders, Christopher Lambert and Adrian Paul. Bruce Payne, from Passenger 57, plays the Immortal villain. He recruits other Immortals to fight against the Highlanders, and I'm one of them. I drew inspiration for my character, Jin, from Jin Ke, the assassin who fails, most recently depicted in the movie The Emperor and the Assassin. He's an honorable man, and I had input into the character, bringing Confucian values into his characterization. I have two memorable fight scenes. In one, we confront monks armed with shotguns; knowing I can't die, I let them gun me down. It's shot in slo-mo and I spread my arms like Nicolas Cage in Face/Off. There's also an eventful Last Supper scene, but I don't want to give too much away. The movie has some pretty good action. You know, Hong Kong moviemaking is the ultimate kung fu of filmmaking-the way we position the camera, the way we shoot, the way we edit. And because of my martial arts ability, they said I was the fastest guy they'd ever seen. So it'll be interesting to see the results of the collaboration.
